How KinPaw works

Everything you can do on KinPaw, in a few minutes of reading. New here? Start with the first three steps.

Start here

  1. Create a free account. You'll need one to adopt, book care and keep your pets' records. Create an account
  2. Add your pet. In My KinPaw, open My pets and add a photo, birthday and health records. Go to My pets
  3. Choose what you need. Adopt, book care, or shop essentials. Everything you do appears in My KinPaw.

Adopting a pet

  • Browse pets and open one to read its story, needs and what it's good with.
  • Choose Apply to adopt. Our team (or the shelter) reviews every application.
  • Follow the status under Applications in My KinPaw, and read and sign the adoption agreement there.

Booking pet care

  • Pick a service, a date and one of the free times. Prices are shown before you book.
  • After payment, KinPaw assigns a trusted worker. You'll see their name on your booking.
  • Need to change plans? Reschedule or cancel from the booking before the cut-off time shown.

Shopping

  • Add products to your cart and check out with the payment options shown.
  • Paying by bank transfer? Use your order number as the payment reference so we can match it.
  • Track your order and ask for a return from the order page.

Looking after your pets

  • Keep vaccinations, vet visits, allergies and weight in one place.
  • Add reminders for medication, feeding, walks and vet appointments.
  • Going to the vet? Share a private, read-only health passport link that stops when you choose.

Open My pets

Selling or working with KinPaw

  • Sellers apply in the Seller Center, list products after approval, and see sales and visits in Analytics.
  • Pet care workers apply under Work with us in My KinPaw.

Seller Center

Staying safe

  • KinPaw never asks for your password, or for payment by email, text or social media.
  • Only pay with the options shown on KinPaw's own pages, and check the address bar before entering details.
  • Turn on two-step login in My KinPaw, Settings, for extra protection.
  • If something looks wrong, contact us before paying. We're happy to check.
